Please note that this component requires specialist equipment to compress the fixture onto the rope. Purchase aluminium U buckles for 16mm playground rope here. Aluminium U buckles create a connection point at the end of the rope. A 6mm clevis pin is secured through the u buckle with a nut allowing the rope to be connected to a chain, eye, or custom tab. A hydraulic press is then used to clamp the rope permanently onto the U buckle, but the clevis pin can be removed as required. The clevis pin is secured using a security torx bit.
