Please note that this component requires specialist equipment to compress the fixture onto the rope. Purchase pressed aluminium edge ferrules for 16mm playground rope here. Edge ferrules are used to create a connection point at the end of a rope. A threaded rod is the component most commonly used with an edge ferrule. The rope is placed in one end, and the thread in the other. A hydraulic press is then used to clamp the rope and the thread together.
