Description

The Wobbly Walk Bridge is a suspended bridge made from dressed hardwood slats suspended between two posts using 16mm steel reinforced playground rope. The simplest form includes a single hand rope attached directly above the bridge, but there are some alternatives available for the hand rope. The bridge, and the hand ropes are both attached to the posts using stainless steel eye bolts.

Materials

The hardwood merbau slats are sanded and beveled for a smooth finish. A light stain is applied to bring out the colors and natural grain in the locally sourced timber. 16mm steel reinforced playground rope is threaded through the slats, and secured using large galvanized batten screws. Hydraulically pressed connections are used for secure and tamper proof terminations.

Options

Various lengths available. Rope comes in a variety of colors. Single, double, and hanging hand holds available. Purchase with posts and installation, or purchase net only.
